Site Safety Training 
Effective December 1, 2019, construction workers will be required to have taken a required OSHA 10-hour class with 20-hours of additional training or an OSHA 30-hour class . Site Safety Training Cards expire after five (5) years and are renewable upon an applicant showing that they have, in the one-year period preceding submission of a renewal application, completed eight (8) training hours specified by DOB.

Must Attend all 4 days. Classes are Held 8:00am to 5:00pm
SST-307 8-Hour Fall Prevention & 
SST-302 2-Hour Drug and Alcohol Awareness (Bundle Class)

Site Safety Training Cards expire after five (5) years and are renewable upon an applicant showing that they have, in the
one-year period preceding submission of a renewal application, completed eight (8) training hours specified by DOB.

Our NYC DOB SST ID cards are wallet-sized and contain the following information and security features: 

1) Unique identification card number.  

3) Photographs of the person to whom it was issued. 

4) The printed name of the card holder. 

5) Date of course completion. 

6) Expiration date. 

7) Name and address of provider of issuance. 

8) QR Code, Document security features designed to deter forgery and counterfeiting and internet cloud hosting with a summary description of the type of training and number of credit hours completed

Option 1) Cost $100 for training at Electrical Training Center - Option 2) Cost $150 for training not at Electrical Training Center

  • 2-Hour Drug and Alcohol Awareness

3) 100-Hour Training Program Approved by the Department 

  • At a minimum meets the coursework identified in item 1 or 2 above.

4) Prior Experience (see NOTE)

  • 4-Hour Fall Prevention
  • 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User and Refresher
