This program is designed for those with little or no experience in the electrical industry with a 
goal to begin a career in the Electrical industry.  In addition to classroom hands-on training, the school has partnered with Habitat for Humanity to provide on-site hands-on training. This program also provides 
OSHA 30.

NYC Requirement: To renew a NYC Master or Special Electrical License or maintain current under a deactivated license, the applicant must complete this course and submit a certificate of completion to the Licensing Unit as mandated by NYC Administrative Code 27-3015, 1 RCNY §104-06 Continuing Education &§105-03 Department Approved Courses.

 New Electrical License Renewal Requirements (Suffolk County Code, Chapter 563, Article XI) For all Suffolk County Electrical Licenses being renewed after June 7, 2019 Suffolk County will require that electrical license holders complete continuing education hours prior to

Message From The Director

Welcome to the website of the Electrical and HVAC/R Training Center. We are the premier electrical, HVAC, & Green Technology  training facility on Long Island. Our purpose is to educate all workers in the electrical & HVAC industry. We train and educate all aspects of the electrical & HVAC industry such as lighting and power; security and fire alarm; photovoltaic systems; gas & oil burner control wiring; motor & motor controls; low voltage; and safety awareness. We also provide private seminars for corporations in the construction and trade related industries.
We are committed to keeping the electrical & HVAC industry a professional skilled trade. Education is our top priority. Our curriculum is approved by New York State Department of Education and all our teachers are licensed through the New York State Department of Education.
